FAQ
What are examples of transactions that could decrease my available balance during the day?
Transactions that may reduce your available balance throughout the day include:
- Pending personal checks that you have written and the bank has received for processing (even checks that we have authorized to be stopped at your request)
- Pending ACH debit transactions or bill payments that the bank has received for processing
- Pending electronic debits (debit card purchases, Zelle transfers, internal transfers, wire transfers)
- Cash that you withdrew at an ATM or branch
- Any bank adjustments for credits previously made available (i.e., a check you deposit is returned for insufficient funds)
Modern bank systems and operations are complex. If you have questions about a specific transaction, please call us at 1-800-REGIONS (734-4667), visit your local branch, or log into Online Banking or the Regions Mobile App and "Message Us".
