Helping you safeguard your financial assets and accounts is important to us. Here are key details on our security features, plus tips for helping prevent fraud in the future.
At Regions, we strive to provide extra measures to help prevent fraud on your accounts, including security features such as:
- Fraud alert system: If we detect suspicious credit card transactions, we may text, email and/or call you.[1] You can respond to confirm whether you authorized the transaction. This is an automatic security feature — there’s no need to enroll
- Online and Mobile Alerts: You can also sign up for Online and Mobile Alerts to notify you of various account activity, such as Regions CheckCard usage or account balance status
- Biometric identification: When using our mobile app, fingerprint or facial recognition can ensure that only you can access your account
- Regions LockIt®: This complimentary feature in the Regions Mobile App [2] and Regions Online Banking gives you convenient control to block your card for online, in store or ATM transactions. If your Regions card is ever lost or stolen, you can lock your card for certain types of transactions — even before reporting the problem
