What are the next steps after enrolling in External Transfers?

You will need to verify your email address and add your external accounts.

Regions will send a welcome email with a verification code. While in online banking, select External Transfers from the Transfer tab. From My Other Accounts go to the Preferences page and then to My Emails. Click Verify for the email address with the Awaiting Verification status. Enter the verification code and click Submit.

To add your external accounts, select Add a New Account on the Transfer Funds page in online banking or the mobile app. You can also add external accounts by selecting Add Account on the Preferences page under My Other Accounts. Having the correct email address on file ensures you receive email notifications about your transfer activity.

It is a great practice to verify your phone number as well.  Verifying your phone number will allow you to get SMS/Text messages from Regions about your External Transfers.

We will email you when a transfer is complete and display your transfers for the past 180 days on the Activity page. You can also check your account statement to verify that the transfer was debited or credited as you requested.
